Lately I haven’t had the chance to game as much as I’d like, so I’ve been doing a bit more reading than usual to make up for it. Here are some of my favorite blogs to frequent.
Sly Flouish– I’ve been following Mike’s blog for years. He was the reason I played 4th Ed D&D so much. He’s moved on to 5th Ed now, but a lot of his advice is great for anyone who wants to run any RPG without much prep.
Points of Light– This blog I’m a little biased on. Mostly because David and I have worked on projects together in the past and we’re currently working on something big that hopefully we see a successful kickstarter by the end of the year. He likes to write his own stuff for Dungeon World and he and his partner have many Dungeon World classes for sale on drivethrurpg.com
Roleplaying Tips– John has a fantastic news letter that comes out once a week. He writes his own advice and also grabs articles from other blogs as well. Be sure to check this one out because it could potentially lead you to some other fantastic writers.
Deeper in the Game– This is probably one of the deepest blogs I read. Look up his one page contract on his site. I’ve been using it for years now and it’s made my pick up groups run way more smoothly.
Red Box– Couple of blokes that write some great stuff for Dungeon World. Same folks who wrote Class Warfare.
Ryan M. Danks– Writes about FATE and FAE. Really helped my get my head wrapped around the system.
Well that’s all for now. If you have any favs you want to share, leave a comment below. Thanks for reading.
