This past week I started up another Apocalypse World play by post. We’re running the whole thing through google docs, slides, drawings, hangouts, etc. If you’d like to check out what we’re up to go to this link. This will allow you to see our game, character sheets, notes, etc. We’re trying out the latest version of AW2.0, but if you want to see the play books you’ll need to get those from Vincent through his Paetron. For those who don’t want to go through the files here’s a tl;dr version. We’ve barely gotten into session 1 (since we post when we can) so right now it’s all back ground and normal day stuff.
- Rowan (Hocus)- The Messiah of a savage and brutal cult. She’s as much their savior as she is their prisoner. One person in the cult if very important to the hardhold. That would be Brusilov. The hardholder.
- Colonel Brusilov (hardholder)- The Colonel runs this hardhold for the General, who rules multiple hardholds throughout the Wastes. The Colonel has to get his hardhold up to snuff quick because the General is coming for an inspection real quick. The last hardhold that failed inspection ended up getting himself and all of his staff executed.
- Max (gunlugger)- The most violent mercenary in town. This guy will get the job done and will leave a wake of destruction in his path. Woe to the man or woman who goes to Max for help, for many will suffer.
- Conner (savvyhead)- Connor spends most of his time in the old subway tunnels below the hardhold. He’s constantly fighting and stealing from other black hands and circuit heads (engineers and electricians) to continue to build his time machine to prevent the apocalypse
As of now all we know about the hardhold is that it is in the middle of a huge metropolis. Neighboring hardholds are different neighborhoods and a bunch of them belongs to the General.
